Monitoring S3 performance through GUI
You can monitor the performance and health of S3 services through the GUI by using performance charts, statistics, and health monitoring capabilities.
The S3 page in the GUI provides comprehensive monitoring capabilities to track the performance and health of your S3 services. You can view real-time statistics, performance charts, and health events to efficiently monitor S3 operations.
S3 statistics
The statistics section at the top of the S3 page displays the total number of S3 buckets and accounts that are configured in the system. You can click these statistics to filter the table view and display either buckets or accounts.
Performance charts
- Throughput: Displays read and write throughput in bytes per second, showing the data transfer rate for S3 operations.
- IOPs Count: Shows the number of read and write operations per second, indicating the request rate for S3 services.
- Error Count: Tracks read and write errors, helping to identify issues with S3 operations.
Health monitoring
The Top 7 issues section displays the most recent health events that are related to S3 services, sorted by severity. This section helps you quickly identify and address any problems with your S3 infrastructure.
When no issues are present, the system displays an "Active and Healthy" status, indicating that S3 services are operating normally.
