Verify whether the logical volumes are properly defined
Logical volumes must be properly configured to map between the NSD and the underlying disks.
To verify the logical volume configuration, issue the following command:
mmlsnsd -m
The system displays any underlying physical device present on this
node, which is backing the NSD. If the underlying device is a logical volume, issue the following
command to map from the logical volume to the volume
group.lsvg -o | lsvg -i -l
The system displays a list of logical volumes and corresponding volume groups. Now, issue the
lsvg command for the volume group that contains the logical volume. For
example:
lsvg gpfs1vgThe system displays information similar to the following example:
