Filesystems/{filesystemName}/policies: PUT

Sets a policy for a file system.

Available on all IBM Storage Scale editions.

Description

The PUT filesystems/{filesystemName}/policies request applies an Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) policy to a specific file system. For more information about the fields in the data structures that are returned, see mmapplypolicy command.

Specifies the policy for a specific file system as the target of the operation. Required.

The request URL with no field or filter parameter returns only the details that uniquely identify the object.
