Configuring IBM Storage Scale native REST API

After you install the IBM Storage Scale native REST API, you can create and manage IBM Storage Scale cluster by using the scalectl commands or native REST API endpoints.

To configure the native REST API cluster, complete the following steps:
  1. Create a native REST API cluster or migrate an existing classic IBM Storage Scale cluster to the use of native REST API.
    Note: You must create a single-node cluster first, then add additional nodes as required. Unlike the mmcrcluster command, the initial cluster creation request does not support adding more than one node.

  5. Prepare the physical disks by defining them as network-shared disks (NSDs). For more information, see the following topics:
