Monitoring health and events

You can use the mmhealth command to monitor health of AFM to cloud object storage filesets on gateway nodes.

  1. Check the node status.
    # mmhealth node show AFM
    A sample output is as follows:
    Node name:      Node5GW
Component            Status        Status Change     Reasons
-------------------------------------------------------------
AFM                  HEALTHY       6 days ago         -
  fs1/singlewriter   HEALTHY       6 days ago         -

    No active error events for the component AFM to cloud object storage on the Node5GW node.

  2. To display the health status of all the monitored AFM components in the cluster, use the mmhealth command.
    # mmhealth cluster show AFM
    A sample output is as follows:

AFM           Node5GW HEALTHY            -
AFM           Node4GW FAILED             afm_fileset_unmounted
