Installing

This section covers topics on how to rack, stack, unpack, and install an IBM Storage Scale System 3000 system. It also guides the customer on how to fill out the installation worksheet.

The SSR can refer to the IBM Storage Scale System 3000 installation (SSR task) topic to perform a hardware checkout and set the management interface IP.

Note: Much of the information in this section is intended only for IBM® authorized service providers. Customers need to consult the terms of their warranty to determine the extent to which they should attempt any IBM® Elastic Storage System maintenance.
