Hardware requirements

This section specifies the hardware requirements to install Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP®), IBM Spectrum Scale Ambari management pack and HDFS Transparency on IBM Spectrum Scale.

In addition to the normal operating system, IBM Spectrum Scale and Hadoop requirements, the Transparency connector has minimum hardware requirements of one CPU (processor core) and 4GB to 8GB physical memory on each node where it is running.
