Ready Node requirements
An overview of IBM Storage Ready Nodes requirements.
You need a minimum of four nodes for an IBM Storage Ceph cluster that uses replication. Also, you need a minimum of eight nodes for an IBM Storage Ceph cluster that uses erasure-coding (EC).
Note: You can scale-out clusters by adding more nodes, at least one at a time. However, your rack
must be able to support the stacking height, weight, network connection, and power requirements of
each additional node.
