Configure remote access settings by using these procedures.
Before you begin
You must configure the User Account Control feature before you run the
wizard.
Procedure
If the system is running on Windows, complete the
following steps to disable User Account Control:

Enable the built-in Administrator account. Complete the following steps:
- Click .
- Under Security Settings, double-click Local
Policies.
- Double-click Security Options.
- Double-click the Accounts: Administrator account status section.
- Select Enable and click OK.

Disable User Account Control for all Windows administrators. Complete the following
steps:
- Click .
- Under Security Settings, double-click Local
Policies.
- Double-click Security Options.
- Double-click the User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval
Mode section.
- Select Disable and click OK.

Disable User Account Control for the built-in Administrator account. Complete the following
steps:
- Click .
- Under Security Settings, double-click Local
Policies.
- Double-click Security Options.
- Double-click the User Account Control: Admin Approval Mode for the Built-in
Administrator Account section.
- Select Disable and click OK.
