Running a replication storage rule

An active replication rule and its subrules run daily at the scheduled time. However, you can run a replication rule and its subrules without waiting for the scheduled time.

Procedure

Complete the following steps:

  1. On the Operations Center menu bar, click Storage > Storage Rules.
  2. Select the replication rule and click Run Now.
    Tips:
    • On the command line, you can run the replication rule immediately by using the START STGRULE command.
    • Even if you start a replication storage rule manually, the replication storage rule will continue to run daily at the time that is specified by its STARTTIME parameter.

Results

Processing of the replication storage rule begins and data is copied from the source replication server to target replication server.
