Deleting a replication storage rule

You can delete a replication storage rule that is no longer needed. When you delete a replication storage rule, you also delete any subrule exceptions that are associated with the rule.

About this task

By deleting a replication storage rule, you remove the schedule for replicating data between the source replication server and the target replication server. The client data that is identified by the replication storage rule is no longer replicated to the target replication server. However, client data that was already replicated remains on the target replication server until the data expires.

Procedure

To delete a replication storage rule, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Storage Rules page, select the replication storage rule that you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete.
