Supported operating systems

You can use storage agent on IBM AIX, Linux, and Microsoft Windows.

When you use a shared Automated Cartridge System Library Software (ACSLS) library, the library manager must be a IBM Storage Protect server on AIX, Linux, or Windows.

In a z/OS media server environment, you can move data from a storage agent to a z/OS media server only on the following platforms: AIX, Linux, and Windows.
