Some Operations Center email reports include
attachments, which are best viewed in HTML format after you save them to a directory on your
computer.
Procedure
To view an email attachment, complete the following steps:
-
Open the email message. If it includes an attached HTML file, save the file to a directory on
your computer.
-
Open the saved HTML file in a web browser.
Restrictions:
- If you receive an email report on an Apple iPad or iPhone, you cannot save the attachment
to a directory on the device. You can open the report only in the preview window of the
email client.
- If you open a report in the preview window of an email client, toggle controls might not
work. Toggle controls are the controls that you click to show or hide sections of the
reports, or to sort data in a column. Also, graphics might not be displayed.
- If you open a report in a web browser, and you do not allow scripts to run in the web
browser, toggle controls do not work.
- If you open a report on Outlook.com, only the first instance of each
graphic is displayed. For example, if the status of all servers is normal, the
Normal icon is displayed only for the first server, and no icon is displayed
for the other servers.
