Running a copy storage rule

An active copy storage rule and its subrules run daily at the scheduled time. However, you can run a copy storage rule and its subrules without waiting for the scheduled time.

Complete the following steps:

1. On the Operations Center menu bar, click Storage > Storage Rules.
2. Select the copy storage rule and click Run Now.
   Tips:

   • On the command line, you can run the copy storage rule immediately by using the START STGRULE command.
   • Alternatively, you can schedule the START STGRULE command to run as part of an administrative command schedule by using the DEFINE SCHEDULE command.
