Adding an Open Snap Store Manager (OSSM) instance for monitoring

You can monitor an OSSM instance that is listed on the OSSM dashboard in the Operations Center. If you don't find the OSSM instance that you want to monitor, you can add the OSSM instance and start monitoring it. When you monitor the OSSM instance from the Operations Center, you can also see the backup and restore operations between IBM® Storage Protect Plus and the IBM Storage Protect server.

1. On the Operations Center menu bar, click OSSM.
   The OSSM page opens.
2. Choose one of the following methods to start monitoring the OSSM instance:
   • In the OSSM table, select the OSSM instance that you want to start monitoring and click Monitor.
   • If you don't find the OSSM instance in the OSSM table, click Monitor without selecting any OSSM instance.
3. To add an OSSM instance, from the OSSM table, use the following steps:
   1. Click Monitor without selecting an OSSM instance. The Add OSSM configuration wizard window opens.
   2. Provide the necessary information in the Add OSSM wizard and click Finish when you are done.
