With parallel backup processing, you can use a single data mover node to back up multiple virtual machines (VMs) at the same time to optimize your backup performance. You can also back up virtual machines on a Hyper-V system.
This feature is available only if the client operates as a data
mover for IBM Storage Protect for Virtual Environments.

Back up virtual machines on a Hyper-V system
To backup virtual machines that are managed by a Microsoft Hyper-V server, use IBM® Storage Protect for Virtual Environments: Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V.
