Deleting a cloud connection

You can delete a cloud connection that is no longer needed.

About this task

Before you attempt to delete a cloud connection, verify that the connection is not used by and cloud storage pools or cloud device classes. On the Cloud Connections page, the Storage Pools column shows whether any cloud storage pools use the connection. Similarly, the Device Class column shows whether any cloud device classes use the connection.

Restriction: You cannot delete a cloud connection if it is defined on a cloud-container storage pool or a cloud device class. If you attempt to delete a connection that is in use, and error is displayed and the connection is not deleted.

Procedure

To delete a cloud connection, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Operations Center menu bar, click Storage > Cloud Connections.
  2. On the Cloud Connections page, select the connection that you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete
