Installing IBM Storage Protect in a Microsoft Failover Cluster

Install the IBM Storage Protect server on every node in the cluster that hosts an IBM Storage Protect clustered server.

Procedure

Complete the following steps for each node in your cluster to install the IBM Storage Protect server:

  1. Log in with an administrator or domain user ID. The domain user must be a member of the Domain Administrators group.
  2. Install the IBM Storage Protect server to a local disk on each node. Use the same local disk drive letter for each node.
  3. Restart the system after the server installation completes.
