Viewing the server scheduling mode

The server scheduling mode determines how clients communicate with the server to begin scheduled work. Clients can poll the server for work or wait for the server to prompt them.

To view the server scheduling mode that corresponds to a client, complete the following steps:

1. Open the Clients page of the Operations Center.
2. In the row corresponding to the client, click the name of the server in the Server column.
3. On the server Summary page, click the Properties tab.
4. On the Properties page, open the "Sessions and Schedules" section.
5. View the value of the property "Poll by client or prompt by server." This property is the server scheduling mode.
