Withdrawing a pending command

If you are the administrator who issued a command that is pending approval, you can withdraw the command. The command is no longer subject to approval, and does not run.

About this task

After an administrator issues a restricted command, and while the command is still pending approval, the administrator might decide to not run the command. For example, the administrator might determine that the command has errors, or that changes made to the storage environment since the command was issued make the command action unnecessary. In these situations, the administrator who issued the restricted command can withdraw the command.

Procedure

To withdraw a pending command that you issued, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Operations Center menu bar, click Servers.
  2. On the Servers page, select a server.
  3. Click Details and then click the Command Approvals tab.
  4. Click the Pending tab, and locate the command in the list of pending commands.
  5. For the command, click Withdraw.
