Httpport

The httpport option specifies a TCP/IP port address for the web client.

Supported Clients

This option is valid for all clients. The IBM® Storage Protect API does not support this option.

systemsPlace this option in the client system-options file (dsm.sys) within a server stanza. You can set this option on the Web Client tab, in the HTTP Port field of the Preferences editor.

Windows operating systemsPlace this option in the client system options file (dsm.opt). You can set this option on the Web Client tab, in the HTTP Port field of the Preferences editor.

Parameters

port_address
Specifies the TCP/IP port address that is used to communicate with the web client. The range of values is 1000 through 32767; the default is 1581.
