Table toolbar

The table toolbar is displayed just above the table grid.

It contains the following components:

Text-based search field	Figure 1. Text based search field	It enables you to type any text, which matches with the data values in visible text-based columns, and the matched records are filtered and displayed in the grid. Clearing the search field displays all the records again. If the text search is performed when the filters, such as storage type, health state, data collection, and so on are applied, the search is performed within the filtered records only.
Filter icon button	Figure 2. Filter icon	It opens a Filters panel to specify custom filters on storage systems records. To create a custom filter, select a parameter from the Parameter drown-down. Based on the selection, the Condition drop-down displays the conditions that you can select. Select a condition from the Condition drop-down, then specify the condition in the Value textbox. The filter is applied when the user starts typing in the textbox. You can use multiple filters at a time to search records. Click the add (+) icon to add a filter and clear (-) icon to clear the filter. The count of the applied filters is displayed on the filter icon available on the toolbar. To clear all the filters, click Clear.
Gear icon	Figure 3. Gear icon	It enables users to select the height of the table rows and apply sorting of grid data based on the selected column name. Click the icon to open context menu and choose an option from Small, Medium, Large, and Extra large, then click Apply to set the height. By default, the height of rows is set to Extra large.
Column chooser icon button	Figure 4. Column chooser icon	It opens a dialog that enables you to select the columns to be displayed in the table. For more information, see Column chooser.
Text-based report button	Figure 5. Text-based report button	It opens a submenu that has buttons for exporting the data grid contents in CSV, PDF, and HTML format. It enables you to export the table data in CSV, PDF, and HTML format.
Add storage systems	Figure 6. Add storage systems	It enables to add or remove the storage systems of types block, file, and object. Only users with the Administrator role in IBM Storage Insights are authorized to add and remove storage systems. For more information, see Add storage systems.
