Updating a ticket
You can update an existing ticket by following the four-stage process:
- Get started
- Select the storage system from the drop down of I need help with storage
systems option.
Or
Select Open Storage Insights case to resolve issues that are related toIBM Storage Insights and click Open a case. Skip all other steps if you choose this option as it redirects you to another website.
- Verify that the details of the selected storage system are visible in the blue banner.
- Select Update ticket.
- Click Next.
- Select the storage system from the drop down of I need help with storage
systems option.
- Update ticket
- If there are open tickets for the selected device, then a list of all tickets are displayed. Select the ticket that you want to update.
- If there are no open tickets, then enter a valid ticket number in the search box. For example, TS017917683.
- Click Next.
- Ticket description
- Enter a detailed problem description.
- Attach any relevant files (maximum 20 MB per file).
Based on the device type and configuration, you can create a new package to upload with the ticket or upload an existing package.
- Click Next.
- Review the ticket
- Review the ticket number, problem description (if provided), and attached file.
- Click Update ticket.
