Monitoring integrations in IBM Storage Insights
Monitor and manage the webhook and IBM Storage Defender integrations in IBM Storage Insights.

Webhooks
The webhook overview table displays the webhooks that you created and their details. The
following information is available in the webhook overview table:
- Name
- Name of the webhook created in the IBM Storage Insights.
- Webhook URL
- URL of the configured webhook.
- Date Created
- The date when the webhook is created in IBM Storage Insights.
- Status
- Status of the webhook connection.
- Description
- Description provided by you when creating the webhook.
- Alerts forwarded
- Severity of the alerts that are configured to your webhooks, such as critical, warning, or informational.
Click the 3 vertical dots menu at the end of each webhook row to edit or delete the webhook.
Note:
- Only users with the Admin role can create, modify, or remove webhooks. Users with the Monitor role can view webhook configurations and retry sending failed webhooks.
- Ransomware threat detection alerts are sent to all configured webhooks, regardless of their individual configurations.
- You can create a webhook in the free version of IBM Storage Insights to receive only ransomware threat detection alerts.
IBM Storage Defender
You can get the integration status of IBM Storage
Insights with the IBM Storage
Defender. You can also pre-approve the future
integration requests received from IBM Storage
Defender
for all your storage systems by checking the box under Approve future
integrations.
Note: You can integrate IBM Storage
Defender with both the free and pro versions of
IBM Storage
Insights to forward ransomware threat
detection alerts and view remediation actions directly in IBM Storage
Insights.
