Product Engineering

The third-level of IBM service support. Product engineering is composed of IBM engineers who have experience in supporting a product or who are knowledgeable about the product.

  1. This package type exclusively enables the creation of new packages and several new log package sub-types could be created for Product Engineering which are:
    • General PE Package
    • ESSNI/DSGUI/API PE Package
    • Easy Tier debug traces
    • Automatic mode performance log
    • Panic log
    • Long I/O traces
  2. Add notes or attachments to the tickets.
  3. Select severity level based on business impact.
  4. Select the problem type.
  5. Review the provided details.
