Logging in to the user interface

You can log in to the user interface of the connection manager to manage the connections available to IBM® Storage Defender®. This includes adding or removing data sources, recovery locations, or sensor control nodes.

Procedure

To log in to the user interface of the connection manager, complete the following steps:
  1. Navigate to the connection manager user interface by using the following URL:

    https://<hostname>/

    where <hostname> is the name of the system used for the deployment.

  2. Enter the username and password.
  3. Click Log in to proceed.
    Note: If you are logging in for the first time, enable two-factor authentication by either scanning the QR code or copying and pasting the 32-character alphanumeric code into your authenticator app.
  4. Follow the instructions in your authenticator app and enter the 6 digit code from the app into the connection manager login page.
