Sources overview

The Sources overview page displays the overview of active and inactive sources.

Sources are categorized according to the storage type such as storage systems, backup systems, and virtual machines.

Active sources are connected to Data Resiliency Service. The tile for a specific active source displays the count for total numbers of devices, clusters, or servers and the count for devices, clusters, or servers with scan status as Failed or Succeeded. For the active sources, you can click View all on the tiles to view details of the connected source on the respective source type page. For example, if you click View all on the Storage system tile, you are navigated to the Storage system page to view details about connected sources.

Inactive sources are sources that are not connected to Data Resiliency Service.

For Dell PowerMax, accept agreement

If you have added Dell PowerMax as a source in connection manager, to view the data from Dell PowerMax in Data Resiliency Service, complete the following steps:
  1. On the Dell PowerMax tile, click View terms.
  2. In the Introducing Standard tier pop-up window, click Accept to accept the agreement.
  3. Click View Connection Managers, to view the Dell PowerMax sources on the Connection Managers page.
