Removing a connection manager

You can remove your connection manager, if you no longer need to manage the data sources in it.

Procedure

To remove the connection manager that you no longer need, complete the following steps:
  1. Log in to IBM® Storage Defender®.
  2. Navigate to Data Resiliency Service > Connections > Connection managers.
  3. In the list of available connection managers on the Connection managers page, select one or multiple connection managers.
    Tip: You can use the search option to reduce the list to a specific group of locations.
    1. In the search field, enter the connection manager name or partial name of the connection manager.
    2. The list is adjusted and reduced automatically.
    Important: If there is a duplicate entry for a connection manager, you must remove one of them to avoid duplication errors.
  4. Click Remove from the options displayed batch action bar.
  5. Check the checkbox on the Confirm Remove dialog box and click Remove.

    Success notification for removal of selected connection managers is displayed.

    Alternatively, you can remove connection managers manually, one at a time by clicking the overflow menu icon of the specific connection manager and selecting Remove from the displayed options.
