Data Resiliency overview
The Data Resiliency user interface overview helps you to get started by connecting your data or create a recovery group. You can explore all the capabilities and learn more about the Data Resiliency Service.
Data Resiliency Service identify assets and resources and ensure they are backed up. It helps to detect threats, prevent ransomware attacks, and facilitate recovery in case of an event.
To access the Data Resiliency Service overview, click the main menu icon on the upper-left corner of the IBM® Storage Defender® user interface, and then navigate to .
You can choose one of the following options to start using Data Resiliency Service:
- Connect your data: This tile navigates you to the Connection managers page, where you can add a new connection manager.
- Create a recovery group: This tile navigates you to the Recovery groups page, where you can create a new recovery group.
The Data Resiliency Service offers the following capabilities:
- Connect teams
- Enable collaboration across your teams to improve data safety and identify recovery points, so you can securely restore data across storage and backup system workloads.
- Evaluate inventory
- Keep track of your resources and storage to ensure the continuity of your business plan.
- Automate data resilience
- Find the safest points to recover your data and coordinate recovery across your storage and backup system workloads.
- End-to-end threat detection
- Detect both active and hidden threats in your live production, storage systems, and backup systems by using multiple protection technologies.
- Enhance detection
- Use the AI-powered Trust Index to evaluate the relative trustworthiness of your copies.
- Accelerated recovery
- Automate and orchestrate the recovery of VMware applications that are secured by IBM Storage Defender Data Protect.
