Locking or unlocking a generated recovery groups

You can lock or unlock the generated recovery groups so that the VMs included in the recovery group get locked during a future run of generate groups.

1. On the Data Resiliency home page, click Recovery Groups.
2. On the Recovery groups page, select a recovery group or multiple recovery groups. Lock , Unlock and Archive options get displayed.
3. Click Lock or Unlock option from the displayed options. Once the recovery group is locked or unlocked, a success message is displayed.
   Note: Only generated recovery groups can be locked or unlocked. If you select user-defined recovery groups with generated recovery groups for locking, a notification is displayed that the user defined recovery groups cannot be locked. If you choose to continue and only the selected generated recovery groups will get locked. However, you can archive both user defined and generated recovery groups.
