iDRAC access

IBM Support may instruct you to log into the server management interface (iDRAC) and download logs.

Downloading logs

  1. From your browser type in the IP address for the iDRAC on your TapeCloud Node. You can use the default username (root) and password (calvin) to login.

  2. Click on Support Assist from the Maintenance menu option.

  3. Click on the Start a Collection tab.

  4. Select the Storage Logs, and Debug Logs options and then click Collect.
    Note: Ensure that the Save Locally radio button is selected.

  5. When the progress bar reaches 100% the you will see the green message bar indicating that the log collection is complete.

  6. Attach the downloaded zip file to any support case you have opened.
