Removing application metadata

To remove client application metadata on a pool, run the following:

Syntax 

ceph osd pool application rm POOL_NAME APP KEY

Where APP is:

  • cephfs for the Ceph Filesystem.

  • rbd for the Ceph Block Device

  • rgw for the Ceph Object Gateway

Note: Specify a different APP value for a custom application.
