Procedure

Download and install Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

If needed, create a Red Hat account.

Log in to your Red Hat account.

Get a free Red Hat Enterprise Linux subscription from Red Hat.

Install Red Hat Enterprise Linux on your storage nodes or hosts.

Install IBM Storage Ceph Pro Edition.

Register for a free 60-day IBM Storage Ceph Pro trial.

Log in to your IBM account and get your IBM entitlement key.
Use the username and password created during registration and go to
Entitlement keys on myibm.ibm.com.

Register your Red Hat Enterprise Linux nodes and enable the IBM Storage Ceph repositories.

Install
cephadm by running the dnf install cephadm -y command.

Run the preflight playbook.

Bootstrap the IBM Storage Ceph cluster that uses
cephadm.

Use the IBM Storage Ceph Dashboard to expand your cluster with OSD, Ceph Object Gateway, S3, and other daemons and services.
