Creating a bucket notification

Create a bucket notification rule that maps S3 events to a notification destination.

Before you begin

Before you begin, make sure that you have the following prerequisites in place:

• At least one notification destination exists.
• You know the bucket name and the required event types.

Procedure

1. In the Notifications tab, click Create notification.
2. Enter the bucket name.
3. Select the event types to monitor.
4. Select the target notification destination.
5. Click Save.

Results

A new bucket notification is created and associated with the selected destination.
