Summary of commands by management function
Commands are categorized by management function.
Table 1 identifies IBM Storage Archive Enterprise Edition management
functions and summarizes the applicable commands to use to accomplish tasks for each function.
Management function | Command usage | Additional information |
---|---|---|
Tape storage pool management | List current information about resource inventory for pools.
|
eeadm pool list |
Create or delete storage pools.
|
eeadm pool create | |

|
eeadm tape online | |
List current information about resource inventory for tapes.
|
eeadm tape list | |
Perform reconciliation tasks between the GPFS namespace and the LTFS namespace.
This command is used for both tape media management and tape storage pool management functions. |
