Exclude IBM Storage Archive work directories from anti-virus software to help ensure the correct operation of your IBM Storage Archive system.

About this task

Configure any anti-virus software on your IBM Storage Archive system to exclude these directories:
  • The library mount point (/ltfs directory).
  • The .SpaceMan directory (which is located in the root of the space-managed GPFS file system).
  • The IBM Storage Archive metadata directory (the GPFS file system that is reserved for IBM Storage Archive internal usage).
