Deploying and executing the MT and MX Generic Envelope and Deenvelope examples

The procedures provided here describe how to run the Generic Deenvelope and Generic Envelope services examples from WebSphere Transformation Extender, and from Sterling B2B Integrator. The example maps call the Sterling B2B Integrator adapter to write values to Sterling B2B Integrator tables. Because of this, the map fails if you attempt to run the map outside of Sterling B2B Integrator.

The map can also be tested by using the Run on Sterling B2B Integrator option in the WebSphere Transformation Extender Design Studio. Test the map to make certain that the map is built to run properly on Sterling B2B Integrator even though the Generic Envelope and Deenvelope services are not invoked. The WebSphere Transformation Extender Design Studio preferences must be configured to connect to the Sterling B2B Integrator. See the WebSphere Transformation Extender Map Designer documentation for more information.
