SPE user interface features

The SPE user interface provides the following functions during the setup and design phases. It does not perform any run time operations.

• Provides configuration of envelopes and associated artifacts, such as maps and control numbers
• Provides detailed envelope configuration through use of the Advanced tab
• Offers local or global control numbers, and control number references
• Supports import, management, and modification of code lists and XML schemas
• Version management and control of edited artifacts
• Allows creation, modification, import and export of tenants and users
• Can specify automatic name generation for maps, control numbers, and drivers
• Allows referencing of maps at different levels
• Allows specification of HIPAA validation level
