Start an ITXA session

Setting up a console session also sets the environment variables for that session.

Start a console window or console session:

(Linux® and UNIX platforms) Execute the spesetup.sh command, if not previously done in this console session. Note that the pathname is preceded by a dot operator (.) and a space:

. spe_install_dir/bin/spesetup.sh
```
(Windows platform only) From the Start menu, click All Programs > IBM Standards Processing Engine version > SPE Console window
Or execute the speconsolestart command from the spe_install_dir/bin directory:
```
speconsolestart
```
