Using Standards Processing Engine with WebSphere Transformation Extender
WebSphere® Transformation Extender works with Standards Processing Engine products and associated standards packs. A WebSphere Transformation Extender map that runs on Standards Processing Engine can use the trading partner data and solution pack mapping artifacts in the Standards Processing Engine database to de-envelope, transform, and envelope documents that conform to industry standards
WebSphere Transformation
Extender includes the SPE adapter. Specify
the SPE adapter
commands on a WebSphere Transformation
Extender map rule to run the map on Standards Processing Engine and to start the
enveloping, de-enveloping, and transformation capabilities of a Pack
solution. WebSphere Transformation
Extender maps also can run other types of maps (such as Sterling B2B Integrator maps) on Standards Processing Engine by
using the SPE adapter -TRANSFORM
command.
You can use WebSphere Transformation Extender Design Studio to test and deploy WebSphere Transformation Extender maps, Sterling B2B Integrator maps, XSLT maps, XML schemas, and DTDs on Standards Processing Engine.
