Installing SPE for use with IBM Integration Bus and IBM Integration Toolkit

Your Standards Processing Engine installation depends on which IBM® Integration Bus components are already installed on your system, and whether you want run time components only or run time and design components. You can also install optional patterns specific to Standards Processing Engine.

Installing Standards Processing Engine node runtime components

The SPE installer places the runtime files in the IBM Integration Toolkit folder in the IIB folder under the root installation directory.

IBM Integration Bus
  1. Install Standards Processing Engine.
  2. (Linux® and UNIX) Copy the file
    /StandardsProcessingEnginen.n.n/IIB/runtime/speiib_nnn.sh

    to the following directory:
    /var/mqsi/common/profiles
    where
n.n.n or nnn is the SPE version
    Example:
    /var/mqsi/common/profiles/speiib_900.sh
