Integration Bus Event API

For critical errors that require operator intervention, Integration Bus Event API information goes to a system event log such as the Windows Event Log.

IBM Integration Bus console

High-level information about each message flowing through a node will be written to the IBM Integration Bus console. Examples include SPE status, or notification that a node is starting to process a message.

If an SPE throws an exception, the information about the SPE exception is also written to the IBM Integration Bus console. The SPE.ConsoleLevel property controls how much information is written to the console.

SPE log messages

Standards Processing Engine offers debugging logging information outside of the invoking application message flow. Logging levels are controlled by the customer_overrides.properties file in the spe_install directory. This property file also allows the user to specify an output file for the SPE log information.
