Viewing the usage of a map

The detailed view page for each map displays an encapsulated view of the resources that currently use the map.

About this task

When you are updating or removing a map, you can view the usage of the map to ensure that you are not updating or removing a map that is currently used. Based on your requirements, you can change the usage by updating the resource configuration and then update or remove the map.

Procedure

To view the usage of a map, complete the following steps.
  1. Click Maps to view the Maps page.
  2. On the Maps page, click the map for which you want to view the usage information.
  3. On the detailed view page for that map, the Usage section contains the number of resources that are using the map.
