Post-deployment tasks

After deploying ITXA on the OpenShift Container platform, complete the following post-deployment tasks.

  • Routes in the OpenShift Container platform are created with default certificates. For production environments, it is recommended that you get a CA-certified TLS certificate and update the routes manually. See IBM Transformation Extender Advanced Readme for more information about applying the production-specific certificate.
  • Complete the following steps to validate that the application servers are running.
    1. Verity the ITXA UI pod comes up and you can connect it via https://[hostname]/spe/myspe with user ID admin and specified adminPassword in itxa-user-secret.yaml file. For more detailsLog in to the application URL that is specified in your routes. See IBM Transformation Extender Advanced Readme for more information.
    2. Launch the application with the default login credentials. For security reasons, ensure that you change the default login credentials.
