MX transformation

About this task

The mx/msd folder contains a deployment script called compile_mx_maps.msd. This file contains three systems for deploying the maps:
  • corpact_transformation
  • funds_transformation
  • payments_transformation

These systems compile and deploy the MT-MX translation maps.

The payments_transformation system compiles the Payments and FI Transfers and the Cash Management maps from the "Supported MT-MX translations" table. The corpact_transformation system compiles all of the Corporate Action messages from the "Supported MT-MX translations" table, and the funds_transformation system compiles all the Funds maps from the "Supported MT-MX translations" table.

Follow these steps to build and deploy the maps:

Procedure

  1. Use the WebSphere Transformation Extender Integration Flow Designer (IFD) to open the compile_mx_maps.msd file. The IFD is part of the WebSphere Transformation Extender Design Studio.
  2. Right click the system that you want, and select Deploy\Local to compile all of the relevant maps for this business area. Move all of the relevant files to the correct folders.

    All of the MT and MX maps are supplied with sample data in the mx/data folder. The correct installation and deployment of the maps can be verified by opening them in WebSphere Transformation Extender Design Studio. If the installation and deployment is successful, the maps run without modification. Open the relevant map and click the Run icon. The following message is displayed:

    Map completed successfully.
    Note: A These instructions are for Windows operating systems only. The relevant system can be modified in the compile_mx_maps.msd file, if required, to deploy the maps to another operating system, such as AIX.
