Rules table
The rules table displays the specific details and associated map rules for unexecuted or executed functional maps and top-level maps. You can populate this panel by clicking the Coverage ID, top-level map, or functional map nodes in the navigation tree.
Detail grid columns
The rules table displays a grid with specific columns to help you analyze the rules:
- The Map Name column specifies the name of the compiled map (.mmc) that contains the unexecuted rule.
- The Card Name column identifies the output card associated with the rule.
- The Output column displays the output data object targeted by the rule.
- The Rule column shows the rule text exactly as it appears in the map source.
Visibility
The rules table displays rule details only when the map coverage is less than 100% and map rules have failed. If the map achieves 100% coverage, the right panel no longer displays the rule details.
Run map limitations
The rules table does not support run map information. To view the details of an available run map, double-click the run map node in the navigation tree to open a new, temporary tab containing that specific information.
Source map integration
When information is available in the rules table, you can double-click a specific row to view the rules in the associated source map. If the map is not currently open, the system automatically opens the file that you specified in the coverage settings.
