About this task
The
port definition can be generated based on the RFC destination and
the partner profile. The partner profile is generated based on the
Distribution Model and the port definition.
To
generate a partner profile:
Procedure
- Enter /nbd82 in the
command field.
The Generating
partner profile window opens.
- In the Model view field,
select a distribution model view from the drop-down list. (In this
example, it is SUBSYSTEMS.)
- In the Partner system field,
select a Logical System from the drop-down list. (In this example,
it is CUSTOMERLS.)
- Select Collect
IDocs and transfer. (This is the default, which can be
changed using transaction code WE20.)
- Select Trigger
by background processing so there is no overriding by
express flags. (This parameter is the default, which can be changed
using WE20 transaction code.)
- Click Execute.
The Generating partner profile window opens
listing the messages and confirming the generation of a port and partner
profile.
