Launcher System

About this task

To create launcher system file using Windows ITX Integration Flow Designer, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Create a new system definition file.
    1. Select File > New.
    2. Select Server > Local Server.
  2. Add the ccx12 map for execution.
    1. Right-click the canvas, select Add Component > Source Map.
    2. Navigate to pack install component x12 and select ccx12.mms.
    3. Select ccx12 from the list.
  3. Rename the default System name System1 to a preferred name.
    Example: validate_x12
  4. Save System Definition file using File > Save As option.
    This will create the MSD file in the Windows folder containing the ccx12.mms map.
  5. Modify Launcher configuration.
    1. Right-click, Edit Launcher Settings.
    2. Modify Map Server Location: relative to <bind_mount_dir>/data/maps/compliance/mapsandschemas/ccx12.lnx
    3. Modify Input, #1 x12data, GET > Source > FilePath relative to <bind_mount_dir>/data/input/*.*
    4. Modify SourceEvent = ON to trigger launcher with any file placed in the Linux <bind_mount_dir>/data/input folder.
  6. System Deploy configuration.
    1. Right-click the System > Deploy > Definitions.
    2. Enter name.
    3. Select Build and Transfer Maps and Generate.
    4. Select Transfer Launcher Control File and close.
  7. Save System Definition file.
  8. Generate System definition
    1. Right-click the System > Generate.
    This will create the MSL file in the Windows folder where the MSD file is saved with the System name.
  9. Copy the MSL file to <bind_mount_dir>/systems.
