If the user creation script fails, review the console messages and inspect the createuser.log file in the ITX installation directory.

Common causes for failure include the following issues:

  • The terminal is not run with root privileges.
  • The working directory is incorrect.
  • MongoDB is not running.
  • The script has extra or missing command-line arguments.
