About license annotations

License annotations are metadata applied to Kubernetes pods that allow the IBM License Service to identify the product, its version, and the licensing metric used to calculate entitlement usage. These annotations are required for compliance tracking and must be present on every pod running an IBM Sterling Transformation Extender container image.
